Here are a few simple tips to help ensure everyone has a safe day:
- Please use the crosswalks before and after school. Crossing at a perceived more convenient spot may save a few seconds, but puts you and your child at risk to be harmed by an oncoming vehicle.
- Please have your child come to school in appropriate clothing for the Idaho weather conditions.
- Children are outside during recess for up to twenty minutes.
- Before School-Please do not send your child to school before 7:30 am, the playground is not supervised until then.
- Visitors must sign in at the main office accessed by the main front doors.
- After school- If busses have left, children still waiting for pick up will be brought to the front and will call home at 2:30pm. If your child usually rides the bus, goes to ELC or the After School Program, they MUST have a note or a parent or guardian MUST call into the school to notify the office of the changes before 2:15pm. If the ride for the child(ren) is not at the school by the time the busses leave (2:20pm) the child will follow their normal routine. Thank you for assisting us with these important matters.
- Buses: The buses line up on the south side of the school by the yellow guardrails. We ask for the safety of our students that you do not pick up or drop off students on this side of the building. It is unsafe for our students to run between the buses and cross the street. Please arrange to pick your children up in front of the school. Do not allow them to run across the street without an adult with them.
